What is it exactly?
I found this definition:
“Complete trust or confidence in someone or something.“
How does having faith in someone or something even happen in today’s world?
That’s my question for this morning.
This is what I have learned about faith. There are things I inherently know. I believe I am guided. I believe I am provided with important information. But here’s the kicker…I have to trust it. I have to have faith in that information. I have to have complete and total faith in it or it has no value to me.
When I am given information and I have faith in it, I am filled with confidence, I trust it implicitly.
The moment I start to lose faith, I spiral quickly. I understand why the Christians believe in a devil.
The devil is in the doubt.
Today’s suggestion is to list things that you can do to hear (and trust) your inner wisdom. Then read it out loud. Post it somewhere you can see it on regular basis. If you’d like, you can post here in the comments section.
Here’s my list:
- Sit quietly
- Listen to music
- Spend time in nature
- Ask for and seek guidance
Your turn. : )
It’s your day. Go get it.
